The name of this typical product refers to the geographical area of the Province of Parma where the town of Felino is located, where it was historically produced.
Prized for its fragrance and delicacy, Salame Felino PGI is obtained from the processing of premium cuts of pork shoulder and belly, selected and minced, flavored with white wine and whole black pepper.
Gualerzi Salame Felino PGI is stuffed into a larger natural pork casing, hand-tied with string, and cured for a longer period (60 days). For best flavor, we recommend slicing it with a knife, making a diagonal cut the thickness of a peppercorn.
Ingredients: pork, salt, dextrose, spices, antioxidants: E300, preservatives: E250, E252, garlic.
