Extra artisanal strawberry jam from Piedmont

Strawberries are a typical fruit of the Roero region. They arrived from France in 1938 and have since held pride of place in the Roero region's cultivation, thanks to the sandy, fertile soil that makes them naturally sweet. The fruit is left to cook in pieces. Strawberries 85.78%, sugar 14.10%, lemon 0.12%. No thickeners or artificial additives. Excellent for breakfast or as a snack on bread or toast. Perfect for garnishing tarts.
