Creamy blue sheep's cheese aged in white Passito wine and enriched with Chilean grapes in the crust.
A sheep's milk blue cheese similar to French Roquefort, with strains of Penicillium roqueforti. The cheese is then coated with white raisins. Excellent as a dessert after a meal or with lightly salted crostini.
Excellent paired with white dessert wines, Zibibbo di Pantelleria, Recioto di Soave, and can also be paired with soft spirits made from aromatic grapes or medium-aged calvados.
Ingredients: Raw sheep's MILK, salt, rennet, lactic ferments, Penicillium Roqueforti, white passito wine (min. 1.9%) and dehydrated Chilean grapes (Chilean grapes, sunflower seed oil) (min. 0.1%) in the crust.
