Onion and Honey Compote 200g

Prepared using at least 70% onions, this is a creamy preserve in which small pieces of fresh bulbs can still be recognized, capable of “telling” the palate of delicious aftertastes, in a perfect balance between the flavor of the onion, the sweetness of wildflower honey and the subtle acidity of lemon juice. Pairings: with hard, long-aged cheeses such as Parmigiano Reggiano and Grana Padano; to accompany a platter of boiled meats; to garnish a pumpkin soup, with pork; for a warm crostini with foie gras pâté, pecorino shavings and thyme leaves.
