It stores well in cool, dry places and, if stored in the refrigerator, should be placed in the least cold compartment. This product can be consumed on its own, as an excellent table cheese, but can also be used as an ingredient for various dishes. It pairs well with buckwheat and with typical dishes of Valtellina cuisine, such as "pizzoccheri" or "polenta taragna" or even with summer salads and vegetable purees.
As for the wines, pairing them with young reds rich in aromas and fragrance is recommended.
