Goat's milk caciottona aged with pepper and extra virgin olive oil is a distinctive goat's milk cheese, in which the well-defined flavour of pepper meets the pleasant spiciness of the goat's milk cheese in perfect balance.
This caciotta is massaged with an intense and fragrant extra virgin olive oil and then flavoured with Tellicherry black pepper from Vietnam: this choice is no coincidence, as this cheese is a tribute by Latteria Perenzin to this very region - one of the most remote - of the Silk Road. It is perfect to enjoy on its own, on a charcuterie and cheese board, but also as a base for an original cacio e pepe.
🏆 Gold Medal winner at the Mondial du Fromage 2023.
