Biancone parcels with apples

Accompany the parcels with cider or apple extract
𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜
- 1 pack of rectangular puff pastry or shortcrust pastry
- 100 g of Biancone
- 1 large crispy apple: Royal Gala, Granny Smith, Pink Lady
- 1 organic lemon
- nutmeg and cinnamon powder
- a knob of salted butter
- timut black pepper
- 1 egg yolk and sliced almonds to garnish
- a fragrant and not too strong honey
𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗢
- Heat the oven to 200° and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Get the zest from the lemon.
- Peel and core the apples, dice them.
- Sauté them in a pan with butter, flavor with nutmeg, cinnamon and lemon zest.
- Remove the rind from the cheese and cut it into thin, even slices.
- Roll out the pastry, cut the dough into 10-12 cm squares and arrange a few slices of Biancone and a spoonful of slightly cooled apples on one half.
- Flavor with pepper, roll up the parcels from the longest part and transfer them to the baking tray.
- Brush them with the beaten egg yolk, sprinkle with the sliced almonds and bake for 20' or until golden.
- Serve them hot with a little honey
